The String Cheese Incident invites Waterkeeper to fall 2011 tour
December 2nd, 2011

The String Cheese Incident has invited David Whiteside on their upcoming “Roots Run Deep” 2011 tour to promote Waterkeeper Alliance and local Waterkeeper organizations.  The band invited Whiteside and the Waterkeepers to promote their anti-pollution efforts, specifically their work addressing coal pollution.  In Nashville, Tennessee at the legendary Ryman Auditorium, String Cheese Incident will perform a special acoustic bluegrass set featuring local legends. The Ryman Auditorium is the historic home of the Grand Ole Opry. David Whiteside is the Tennessee Riverkeeper and is excited for the outreach potential at this Nashville show and for Waterkeeper Alliance from Atlanta to Baltimore to Boston.  String Cheese Incident’s roots run deep when it comes to their environmental values and actions, Waterkeeper Alliance is grateful to String Cheese Incident, Michael Kang, Our Future Now, and Madison House Inc., for their environmental leadership and generous support to the Waterkeepers.
Waterkeepers, Whiteside, and Volunteers will have an outreach and fundraising table at the following shows:
