The Waterkeeper
Chris Brown & Kate Fenner

Kate Fenner has been stunning audiences since her earliest performances in her hometown of Toronto, Canada. Kate's poetic temperament, both as a writer, and interpreter of other people's songs, demonstrates a pure artistry, inspiring performers as varied as BB King, Ani Difranco, The Tragically Hip, among others, to demand her presence in the studio and on tour. Kate calls New York City her home, where she collaborates with many heroes of the downtown music scene, including longtime writing partner and fellow Canadian Chris Brown. Kate also contirbuted "Old Man" to Lake Ontario Waterkeeper's first compilation CD, At the Barricades.

Chris Brown's projects and collaborations are extensive. He has traveled and recorded with the Bourbon Tabernacle Choir, B.B. King, The Tragically Hip, and Kate Fenner, amongst others. As a producer, a diverse range of artists constantly seeks his talents, insight and creativity. Producing "At the Barricades" is a natural progression for a man who, through his contribution to arts, literature, and music, has always been committed to community building on Lake Ontario.
